KOREAN HERITAGE RESOURCE
Founded in 2015, Korean Heritage Resource Center is committed to supporting Korean heritage event throughout the Bergen County region. KCC awarded grants from Korea Foundation and Korean Cultural Service New York to establish Korean Heritage Resource Center.
With grants, KCC could equipped 12 of traditional two sided drums(Janggu) and 2 one sided drums(Buk) 2 gongs(Jing). Also significant gifts from KCC seniors members also donated instrument have been made this program possible.
KOREAN HERITAGE RESOURCE RENTAL POLICY (한국문화관련 물품대여 정관)
KCC 한인 동포 회관은 한국 문화에 대한 이해를 높이고 한국 문화와 친숙해질 수 있도록 학교 및 도서관 등 비영리 단체와 한국 학교 등을 대상으로 한국 문화 물품 대여 서비스를 제공하고 있습니다. 한국 문화 관련 전시, 교육 및 체험 행사 등에 유용하게 활용하실 수 있습니다.
대여 기간: 2주 이내
물품 대여 및 반납 시간: 1pm-3pm, Monday-Friday only
대여 절차
– 아래의 Resource 목록 확인 후 Rental Application 을 작성하셔서 담당자에게 이메일 info@kccus.org로 발송하시면 담당자가 확인 후 연락드립니다.
– 대여 문의: info@kccus.org, 201-541-1200 Ext. 111
– 대여비: 대여는 무료이나 물품 Value를 합산한 Deposit Check를 발행하여 제출 (Payable to Korean Community Center). 물품 반납일을 반드시 지켜주세요. 반납일을 넘길 경우 기간에 따라 Deposit 금액에서 차감 (반납일이 지나고 1-5일 Deposit 30% 차감, 6-10일 50% 차감, 11일 이후 100% 차감), 기간내에 리턴하고 분실 및 파손이 없으면 전액 환불 (분실 및 파손 시 물품 Value만큼 차액 후 환불)
– 의류 세탁비: 한복 등 의류는 반드시 세탁후 반납 (세탁비 한 벌당 $10-$50 Deposit Check 발행 제출)

KCC 한국 전통 문화 프로그램의 활성화를 위하여 아래와 같이 한국 전통 물품들을 기부받고 있으니 관심있으신 분들의 많은 참여를 요청드립니다.
필요한 물품
**모든 물품은 사용 가능한 양호한 상태이어야 합니다.**
• 전통 악기: 장구, 북, 소고, 단소, 해금, 아쟁 등
• 전통 의상: 한복, 신발, 쪽두리, 댕기, 비녀, 사물놀이 의상 등
• 전통 용품: 부채, 보자기 등
• 전통 가구: 병풍 등 이동이 용이한 작은 가구류
• 기타 소품 등
KOREAN DANCE & MUSIC NIGHT (한국 무용과 음악의 밤)
Korean Dance and Music Night is a KCC’s annul Korean performing arts event. This event was first held in 2006. Korean Traditional Dance and Music Night’ has been focused on delivering high quality of performance for the community. Many of special performers and groups were invited from NJ, NY and South Korea and presented different genre of traditional performance.
From 2014, KCC proposed new way to introduce Korean culture by emphasizing audience’s participation. KCC designed half of program for artists’ performance and other half for audience involvement. After each piece of performance is done, artists presented the brief introduction of performance and audiences joined on the stage and learned the piece with artists.
