Born in Seoul, Korea, Sunhee Yoon currently lives and works in NJ.

Sunhee received her MFA from Pratt Institute. She is an environmental installation artist and art educator. She has exhibited 12 solo shows, as well as several group shows in the United States(NY, NJ), Korea and Germany.

Using wire, Sunhee install her drawing in space. It is a map of my mind, thoughts and memories that exists through unlimited time and space. Recently, Sunhee start to use colored mixed media to symbolizes the living organisms that represent the global environment. Sunhee wants to observe the changes and express the difference in and between nature and the human living condition. Accepting reality is the same process as facing duality in present society. Sunhee express those facing reality into my work.
